Audit Committee

Mandate: The Audit Committee's work in 2009 is to establish and create an FDSA owned audit process.  The committee will work together to develop a work-back schedule to ensure the appropriate recommendations are ready for board review and approval at its September Board meeting.  The committee will ensure any and all parties associated with or interested in the FDSA audit process are consulted.

Primary Objectives:

• Create a new FDSA-owned audit process to be available to all auditing companies willing to follow the FDSA accreditation procedures.

Secondary Objectives:

• Sub-committee to review and create 8th step to be added to the newly created FDSA audit .

Action items to consider:

• Deadline for the committees report to the entire board is August 31, 2009 with the desire to establish the new process for the 2010 audit season.
